Winter Reprieve

FIRST A HOWLING BLIZZARD
WOKE US
THEN THE RAIN CAME DOWN TO
SOAK US:
AND NOW BEFORE OUR EYE
CAN FOCUS

CROCUS!

-Lilia Royers

I have been traveling
bumping into both winter and spring
As you daily celebrate the weather of your heart
may you be willing to have tea with both.

  2. Ok Carla...I am always needing some embellishment for the spirit so I will try to drop in on occasion. The fact that folks can have more than one blog blows me away. I can hardly keep up with one. I have two rules for blog following: 1. Folks have to write fairly regularly 2. It can't be too long or I will lose interest (that is my ADD tendency)
    Blog on dear heart!

  4. I like how you blog, Macrina!
I have some ADD too. You use photos, I'm very visual,.. and your words are "just enough"!
I won't linger on blogs with just lots of text!

  5. How this little poem lightened my day! We woke up to howling winds and snow actually drifting a little bit in our yard. Very unusual for us. But now it is all calmed down again and there is a gentle fall of snow. I love spring snow. It's almost as good as that brilliant yellow flower that I see up there. In Alaska, it is good to be patient for spring. : )

    Love...
