Be Patient With Me

Be patient with me
I really am coming back.
And obviously
I'm not sitting
under the sycamore tree
these days.

~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Whatever you do
have compassion on yourself
when you can't keep
all of your promises.
I apologized to my journal
this morning,
all decorated and lovely
waiting for my words.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SILENCE INSTEAD
and that's not so bad either.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have mercy on all within you
that needs your mercy!
  1. Thank you for your words of encouragement. Yes, I forgive myself for not remembering appointments, for not taking time with my best friend. I chose to take time this morning so I opened the bible and read Living Faith. There I discovered your blog. God sent. Thank you. P.S. I have a blog too... karenblanchet.blogspot.com. I am an artist.
  2. Lovely words thank you. The sycamore tree look beautiful to see.. even if a little chilly. Northern hemisphere snow does look beautiful while we are so warm down under.
  3. Thanks for the reminder of being patient with oneself, being nonviolent with oneself, and being Mother to oneself.
    There's something about a beautiful journal that, for me, is kind of intimidating. An old used notebook is easier to write in somehow. But SILENCE is a good message for me, doing less, being present. I love space and silence. Thank you.
  4. You last line is a powerful and true reminder. Thank you. I need self-mercy just now. I'm so tired of being sick and I've pushed my body much to hard today. Thank you for the gentle reminder. Be well, my friend.
